lay on your back with your knees bent and arms flat on the floor and raise and lower your hips while squeezing your butt on the up motion
Squats slowly & hold to count of 8 and back up. Sets of 20.
here's one that makes it tight{hard}. when sitting or standing, squeeze butt together. Hold for about 30 seconds and release. do repeatedly. As much as you can in a row. Do this several times a day. I guarantee you it will help. You will start to notice a difference in a couple of weeks to a month.
J lo is right. With the squats be careful but you have to go deep into it. lunges are really good to but again you have to go pretty deep. Try doing both of these slow and controlled you'll get much more out of them.

Well.. I deliver pizzas, and my calves, thighs, and butt are hard as a rock from climbing stairs while carrying food and 2-liter drinks. I do have a touch of cellulite, but heck, I'm 43, I've earned it! LOL! When I was in High School in gymnastics, one exercise that helps both your posterior and your hamstrings is to stand on the edge of a stair (I used the hearth on the fireplace) and put your toes against the edge, then lower your heels for about 10-15 seconds, then stand on your tiptoes for the same amount of time. Hope this helps! My fiance' calls me 'Booty-licious'! ;)

get on all four and raise one leg as high as you can then lower a few inches and raise again..do about 30 reps with each leg and you should feel a burn after a few reps.do 3-6 sets on each leg..you could also try to get a copy of buns of steel it was popular back in the 90's

lunges are great, yoga, going for walks is even good not only do you work your butt, but you also work your legs and other parts of your body. instead of taking an elevator, take the stairs, thats also a great work out, if you are going up the steps don't take the steps one by one skip every other step, that works the muscles in your butt.
squats.do them really slow and as you bend down focus on squeezing those muscles as tight as you can release when you are fully squated and squeeze again as you come back up.start off doing 2 sets of 10 and increase.
