Why do I have Itchy Palms?..pleas. no silly answers?

Question:
I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but my palms are generally very itchy. I notice it most when I'm typing on my keyboard at work, and when I'm driving. It's possible my mind is just otherwise occupied other times and I dont' notice it, but it's REALLY annoying. It's not 'tickly', it's itchy. My skin is not dry, I have no allergies - skin or otherwise.
Please no stupid responses..I'm asking a legitimate question and would really like legitimate responses.whether factual or theoretical. THANK YOU :)

Answers:
you probally need to go to the dermatoligist

Other Answers:
There is a medical condition called Lupus. It can cause your palms to be itchy.

There's a condition called dermatographism. People who have it tend to welt up at the slightest irritation. Just using your hands can make them itchy and irritated. It could also be contact dermatitis. You could be allergic to something that you come in contact with every day. See a dermotologist.

This could be an allergy reaction to either the soap you are using or because of the pollen in the air. My hands have done this for the last couple of weeks and I bought some Ivory moisturizing body wash. This has helped. I bought it at the drug store, but grocery stores, walmart, zellers probably have it. Its a Proctor and Gamble product so its been around a while. Hope this helps.
