because most of the guys who do that is afraid to show their faces because they're UGLY hahahaha. and sometimes they don't want their date's face!! hehe! be natural and be honest LOOKS counts!!

Is it because men like to think that they have the ability to 'seduce' any woman without the need to hide behind a pc. Face to face you get what you see but you can be anything or anyone you want to be when you are invisible sat behind a keyboard.
I think men (not all) tend to use their looks and physique more than their mental prowess to initially find their partner. When using an online dating site the balance of power between the woman and man is equal, men don't usually like those odds and can feel intimidated. So in answer to your question, why would a man go to an adult website for dating. but be to shy to date?
Is it shyness? or could it be something else, intimidation or inadequacy perhaps.
Not based on any text just my opinion.

A lot of people.men and women..go there for cybersex..maybe just to talk or flirt without meeting. Many many different reasong though.
