Is it normal to have strange dreams?

I had a dream that i killed a cute little bird that was the size of a pencil eraser. I was trying to catch it with my hands and i killed it by accident(it made me feel guilty).I also had another weird dream where i was being chased by a house that was on fire. Its really freaky.

Yes. Dreams r windows to what u r thinking. So whatever u r thinking might not be normal if they come out in the forms of dreams they r. For ex. i dreamed one time that i was fighting for the end of the world. I was a seer fighting a dark wizard for the world. Strange, i know. But everyone has strange dreams.

I think dreams are just feelings we have that are in our subconsious. Feelings that we may not even realize we have. Maybe the dream where you felt guilty about killing the bird was a subconsious feeling that you felt guilty to someone less fortunate then you or smaller or more fragile then you, maybe a child. I had a dream that I hurt a really little kid for no reason and I felt really bad about it. And then I realized how mean I was being to little kids at my job when they would misbehave. Everyone has weird dreams, they just don't always talk about them and most people forget them when they wake up anyway.

I recently started a new medication and I can't believe the dreams I have. Every night, all night long. Most of my morning is consumed by recalling the off-the-wall dreams from the night before. Some are so completely not characteristic of me, so I'm not sure why they occur. Many researchers say that dreams are essentially your brain randomly firing neurons while you sleep. I don't know, but I got some weird neurons.
