Beginner at the Gym,how many machines should i use in a full body workout? should i work my abs, evn thou flab

Question:
Trainer told me not to work abs until i lose fat, is this correct?

Answers:
yes it is correct. you need to concentrate on just getting into a routine . and getting your whole body adjusted to working out..

Losing weight is about a healthy lifestyle..

What you have to do is make your weight loss part of just having a healthier lifestyle.

Diet and fitness work together toward a healthy lifestyle. Changing your diet and your level of fitness is what can change the way you look and feel. The best way to lose weight is about living a healthier life than

what you may be living now. You will need a complete lifestyle change and you will need to be committed.

The body loses about 2 pounds a week optimally and that’s 2 pounds that stay off. When you drop at a faster

rate your body could potentially rebound and either plateau your weight loss or put extra weight on. If you are committed then you should reach your goal.

There will be 5 basic elements you need to adjust to have a healthy lifestyle.
They are:

1. Your Eating
2. Your Water Intake
3. Maintaining a balance of cardio and resistance exercise
4. Smart supplementation
5. Sleeping the best amount of time.

I could give you a long detailed explanation but you can find each one of those aspects detailed in the source link.

i would think that you would want to work on your abs. i am also a beginner at the gym and i try to work all areas.

If its a Full body workout then yes you should slowly work on the abs too so when the flab melts off there is muscle underneath.. get a new trainer!

yes, your trainer is correct. When I gain weight, it is gained in my stomach region, its just something genetic that happens in my family. If you work the muscles in your stomach, you wont see any pack grow on your abs, your abs wont be anything. There might be muscle under your excess fat, but when you lose all that excess fat your also going to lose you stomach muscles that you worked for at the same time. So get on some treadmills or stairclimbers and ellipticals or some bicycles might help too.

u should definetely work the abs no matter if u have flab or not. abs are the essential for a complete CORE body workout. all u have to do is spend 15 minutes a day and about four days a week. as for machines use. u should try to get familiar with as many machines as possible cuz they're all built to work different muscles in ur body. just start off with light weights though and get someone to spot u untill u know how to correctley use the machine otherwise ur gonna end up hurting urself..believe me, i know. i learned the hard way.anyways, hope the info helps u out in ur training..cheers.

personal

listen to the trainer but fat is burned off when you work out anyway I didn't lose fat by waiting for it to go away but your trainer has your safety in mind and he/she knows you better than me use the cycle machines and the treadmills that's probably what your trainer has you doing already cause I think that those machines make you lose fat but not fast enough your trainer has safety in mind but also a pay check to after gym time go running or do sit ups at home but be care full not to over work yourself
