theres so many fast food places ppl in the U.S are bombarded with ads and everytime you turn a corner theres another one But not all americans are like that, its only a sterotype

First of all, I guess you meant to say people that lives in the US. This has nothing to do with US Citizen .

There are 2 reason:

1) It is practical and convenient. US is one of the most practical countries in the world. Nobody really sweat a lot for anything.

2) Is cheap.

I don't eat fast food or even processed or frozen food for that matter. My wife and me cook from scratch every nite.

Well I've got information for ya, People in a lot of other countries eat just as much fast food as Americans do, I was talking to a person from England and he said they eat just as much junk food as we do, and in big cities people tend to more fast food because everything is more fast paced, but more rural areas people actually sit down and cook food, me and my family do, yes we enjoy the occassional fast food but its only about once a week or so, so dont get on the internet and start judging when you don't have all the information you need.

I am an Aussie with 2 part-time jobs in the hospitality industry and it is not restricted to USA.

Sorry to say but it's the parents fault.

All day you hear them say "Do you want "MacDoanlds" or "KFC". What a choice!

*Worse still many parents force-feed their children.

I am serious; the child is crying or saying I am not hungry or I have had enough and the parent is pushing the food into their months,,,,,,,,,,, even babies..

Either they don't want to waste the food or the money;

I don't know why however the fatter the child the happier the parent seems to be. It's like they get great pleasure out of thinking their child is bigger than your child. It is a strange mentality.

Poorer/lower class western suburb people are the worst closely followed by Eastern European's. First they buy MacDonalds and then they have Doughnut King for desert and they never-ever buy water or orange juice instead of the up-sized coke.

Probable for the same reason people like you have no shame asking foolish questions everyday.

This is all to do with the way fast food places market their products. For example in the USA the only playgrounds are at fast food out lets, then children learn that this is a part of life.

But the main factor is MSG, Mono-sodium glutamate it is an addictive food additive, like most e numbers and they hook their customers.

People sometimes can't help themselves, i blame capitalism!
