It depends which snake - but if it is deadly in a bite form it will be deadly by oral consumption as well because the toxins in the venom will be small organic molecules, easily absorbed in your gut, into the bloodstream, from whence they will be able to get into your nervous system and block various receptors on your cell membranes or your acetylcholinesterase (or whatever the venom's particular chemical blocks). However it will take longer to get into your system than a bite would, so you would have longer to inject the anti-venom. If you had that handy then you would probably survive - but as I say, it depends what snake the venom is from.

PS: Trust me, the people that say it won't get into your bloodstream don't know what they're talking about. Where do you all think your food gets absorbed to once it leaves your gut? That's why your blood glucose levels go up and down depending on what you've eaten. And as for the person who thinks things get absorbed through the stomach wall.

This is kinda a vague question. Depends on the snake and how much. As far as the concept of course you can die from it because if you think about it, when someone drinks alcohol it enters there blood stream through there stomach. So its basically the same idea. (i wouldn't recommend trying it to find out)

i remember hearing somewhere, where a guy took small amounts of snake venom on a regular basis, and built up an imunity to it, so he could take more than what would kill the average guy, an be ok

This is the same reason you do not suck snake bites.
