Question:

28 year old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and is having a hard time getting his insulin regulated. he ran across a girl with a pump and when her sugar gets too low the pump injects her insulin automatically, but he got no info from her on how or where to obtain one.

There are several kinds of pumps. There is a new one out that takes your blood sugar and automatically injects to your needs. The web site is below.

I have been using a pump for one year. My A1c went from over 12 to just under 7. I would highly recommend it for someone who want to manage their diabetes..but it is a lot of work. It takes a lot of checking your blood sugars.
