I would suggest you don't.

YOU NEED TO GO SEE A DOCTOR.

is this a serious question? why do you think you are on the medication??

DO NOT STOP TAKING YOUR MEDS!! My mother just passed away from diabetes related complications in Dec.. I know all of the regimen sucks but you don't want to leave your family and friends hurt and alone because you were to selfish to take a pill or a shot. I am pissed b/c mom was only 47 and now she is gone. The decision to not take her medication didn't just ruin her life it ruined mine too because now I am facing forever without her and it didn't have to be this way. Go see your doctor, if you are prescribed those things you probably need them!

Mr.Raviramanujam, Diabetes is not a disease but a disorder. If you control it properly in the long run you need not take medicine. But till then you have to controll it by diet which is calculate on your age and height, (Adequate caloric value avoiding over nutrition, ,Balance in regard to protein carbohydrate intake, should conform as as closely as possible normal, Food intake should be divided into regularly spaced meals of similar quantity. Decrease both fat and carbohydrate, Be constant in your dietary habit from day to day,Diet should be high in dietary fiber and there should be supplementation of vitamins and minerals.) 2.Exercise Judicious physical exercise of value. Excessive exercise is contraindicated., and 3.avoid stress both to the body and mind. Other conditions like hypertension, overweight, lipid disorders if any also should be controlled. 4. general care.: Adequate rest and sleep. avoid tobacco and alcohol, Personal hygiene especially care of the feet, - proper shoes, no infection in between the toes, no hot water bottles no strong antiseptics should be used.5. In addition, drug therapy or/and Insulin may be required depending on the condition. It can and should be controlled with your will power . Hence you better consult a Diabetalogist at the earliest. Otherwise it may lead to dangerous complications. If properly controlled you need not worry you are normal as others are.
