To help us what?

surgery, lol. I just take tylenol or a over the counter medicine for that and bloating, seems to help for me. But as you get older, your system should age with you, and your cramps will go away, I've not had cramps since my 2nd child was born, and that was 10 yrs ago, guess I'm lucky. lol.

Heating pad for the cramps, tylenol to relieve pain, rest, reducing stress, and careful attention to correct nutrition, take a multivitamin and seek herbal remedies such as cramp bark, sage, borage oil, black cohosh and others.

Vitamins on a regular basis - either pills or from your food. Potassium helps muscle cramps, and Iron gives you energy that you lost with the blood.

Advil or Motrin, anything with ibuprofin in it, as this helps not only with pain but inflamation too. Tylenol is acedaminaphin and helps with pain but does nothing for the inflamation that causes the cramps during your period.

Ibuprofen is the best- it reduces inflammation and pain (tylenol only reduces pain, does not work well for cramps!). Also, a multivitamin every day , and add a calcium supplement if you aren't getting enough calcium from your diet, it has been shown in studies to reduce cramps of all kinds in the body. Excercise helps a lot with cramps- certain yoga postures can help too. If you normally get bad cramps, start taking ibuprofen two days before your period starts (it was recommended to me by my GYN and has helped me tremendosly!!), and continue each day until your cramps are gone.Heating pads work well, too.

I had such severe cramps that it made me physically ill for 2-3 days. I tried everything from heating pads to every pain pill I could get. I finally went to the doctor and she put me on birth control. It is the only thing that worked for me! If nothing seems to work for you and your cramps are really severe, I strongly recommend going to your doctor. It's pretty common to prescribe birth control for bad periods.

midol
in use it and it works every time
