I need Injections to relieve Osteoarthritis.. anyone had that done and does it help?

Question:
Of course doctors say it's good for you, but I want answers from people that had it done if possible.

Answers:
Is it Cortisone injections? If so, I know that you are very limited to how much you can have annually. I don't know if that means weekly, monthly, yearly, etc. Regardless, you can't have very much as it's a steroid. On the other hand, they do work, quite well in fact. I get them for Sciatic nerve problems. You have to be careful because you may forget you have Osteoarthritis because you feel so good, cause more pain, and will not be able to get another injection.

Hope this helps.

Other Answers:
I had cortisone injections and then gold injections for my damaged shoulder. None of it helped. Time will help, with gentle exercise to keep joints fluid.
