How do I stop overeating?

Every other day, I pig out on food even when I know that I'm full.

Answers:
first you have to realize what emotion are you feeding. are you upset about something? did some one hurt you? and instead of voicing your anger you stuff it down with food? are you feeding a lonely girl inside? what ever the reason find out what it is. I would suggest going to therapy and having a professional help you unearth what it is that causes you to act this way. I do the same thing but with shopping. we found out that when i get stressed I go shopping. so instead of shopping i now deal with what is causing me stress and put away the debit card!

You need to keep yourself occupied. Get out of the house. Go jogging or just go out with friends or something. Take your mind off the food.

Ride your bike every day

Don't bring junk food into the home. everytime you have a urge to eat drink water, try more protein at breakfast such as hard boiled eggs but don't eat the yolks and don't watch too much TV because that what happens to me if I watch TV I want to eat.

you need to talk to your physician. but try to eat a nice breakfast a small snack than a nice lunch another snack then dinner than another snack drink a glass of water before bed.

It's not magic, just me and the way I did it.
It is an excersise in mind over matter, you must tell yourself that you are full and like a good liar, you have got to believe it, this is the only way. I can do this and believe it, at that time something kicks in, I don't eat anymore, no matter how good it looks and tastes. I don't eat. Hypnosis may do it for you, if you can't, but the method works. (Reformed Eater)
I have given up smoking with this method, from 60/80 Dunhill International cigeretts per day, on day 1, I told myself "I do not Smoke" I still don't smoke many years later. I still need to think that I don't Smoke. I feel that I could start again easily, once a smoker always a smoker (Reformed Smoker).
There is lots of help but anly you can do it !!

think of it like this: you are addicted. And it is gonna be as hard to quit as a drug addict trying to quit dope. But it is definitely worth the fight.
