I want to flat iron my hair but i dont' want to burn it to a crisp though. What's the best thing to put in your hair before you flatiron it. without being all greasy and stiff, oh and hopefully it smells good too.

you need flat iron spray by Sexy Healthy Hair. I cannot remember who makes the product, but it's in a red & white aerosol can. Really, any product you use will help keep your hair from burning. Matrix has a spray that smells good, but you cannot put alot on because it will make the hair oily.
