Can you have strep throat without haveing a sore throat?

Question:
I think I have strep throat, I have all the symptoms except a sore throat and a fever

Answers:
Yes you can. I use to get it all the time when I was younger and the doctor kept telling my mom she was crazy. But sure enough, I would always have it, just minus the symptoms and sometimes she thought I had it even if the test came up negative.

Other Answers:
the only way to really tell is by going to the doctor.

Yes, you absolutely can. That happened to me once. I went in for a normal checkup and found out I had strep. The faster you find out, the better you will be. So, go to your doctor and get the culture done. Its painless. Better to be safe than sorry.

Yes you can. Strep throat is high contagious so get to doctor and let him do a throat culture. My first time with strep was just "plugged" ears.

no that is so not true

yes and if gone untreated the strep can travel to your eyes and ears..do you have a earach? the only real way of knowing is to have your DR.do a swab test..they will swab your throat with a q-tip and have it tested doesn't hurt good luck..
