What do you tip a hairdresser?

I'm a guy, but I tip about 10 to 20% depending upon how good of a job I think they did.

It depends on the service they gave. For a color & cut, I usually tip about $10.00. For just a cut, about $5.00, so I guess between 10% and 20%.

i pay £10 for my hair cut and i don't tip them because the hair cut cost so much money in the first place :)

as a hairdresser for many year i have seen as little as 1 dollar for a50dollar service so on an average if i got from 3 - 5 dollars i would be quite happy the same with a barber although most men would give me 5 for a 15 d haircut
