Are tempurpedic mattresses worth the price? Do they really help people with bad backs?
Question:
Answers:
I bought a tempurpedic mattress and it is great no tossing and turning or springs bouncing me around.
If you have a bad back go for the orginal 8" mattress. If you have put on a few extra pounds I would recommend the 10" model.
The tempurpedic mattress company dictates the price so you pay the same wherever you buy it so the only deal you get is a store that adds in extras such as free delivery, free pillows, free bedding, free frame and they pay the sales tax
Other Answers:
It depends on where you buythem from. Some are amazing, but some are just a total waste of money because they don't make any differnce
A mattress is a mattress. The best advice for buying a mattress is to spend a long time in a mattress store and try out a hard, soft and medium mattress. The more expensive beds have more coils.
The myth is the harder the bed, the more support you get.
Truth: The more coils you get the better the support.
You need to determine what size and what is your price range.
Then when you get the store, tell the salesperson what your price range is and that you want to try those different levels of firmness.
I sleep on a 8 year old Serta Perfect Sleeper and have arthritis in my back. It is a soft King size bed.
