Answers:
There are a multitude of answers to this question. However, your condition is a bit alarming. Usually people who do as you are doing, end up committing suicide. Talk to a psychiatrist immediately. If you are in school, talk to your counselor and ask him to refer you to some help. Getting help is the first step to understanding why you are doing these things. Good luck to you and best wishes.

Lack of money I assume. Poor people do crazy things.

Because you are into S&M. Talk to a psychiatrist if you won't to stop doing it.

Depression maybe. sadly I used to do that around 10-15 years ago (NOT as bad though) just little things, I was a very depressed kid. You should see someone before you hurt yourself too badly or are maimed.

Childhood abuse,counseling is needed.

Okay.you may need some counseling.

There are two main possbilities.
1) You enjoy the physical pain. This means you are a masochist (aka one who enjoys pain). These are not all "tie me up and whip me" people. The pleasure center in the human brain is right next-door to the pain center. Sometimes, these wires get crossed, and pain causes absolute pleasure.

2) You enjoy the attention you get from pain. The black eye and limp make people pay attention to you. They think you are being beaten by an abusive parent, which can make them fall under scrutiny and may be arrested under suspicion. You get the attention you seek via this method, and you do not care if the attention is good or bad.

In either case, seek help. School counselors will talk to you about this. If not in school, seek a qualified psychologist (not psychiatrist.don't need drugs just yet) to talk about it. So long as you find an outlet for this attention need, you can avoid abusing your body.

Good luck!

its crazy, may be youre looking for sympathy.

you need help .go see a strink.doctor

Masochism is a form of enjoyment from self-inflicted pain. It is sometimes sexual, but doesn't always have to be. With masochism comes a realization that pain is a part of life, and without pain we can never know pleasure, or even normalcy.

Masochism takes on many shapes and forms, from bruising oneself for pleasure to cutting oneself to ensure control over your own body. Some people also hurt themselves to externalize personal pain - to feel on the outside how they feel on the inside. Are you sad or stressed about something?

Masochism is fairly normal and common, no matter what others might tell you. In many cultures, including early Christian, Jewish, Islamic, and Buddhist cultures, self inflicted pain is to become one with the etheral, the all-knowing. The mystics that inflicted pain on themselves were often revered as spiritual leaders having a special connection to God, nature, and themselves.

However, if this becomes a problem, or you are afraid of seriously hurting yourself, there are many places you can go to receive counseling for these troubles. Your school guidance counselor or your local hospital would be great first places to start.

self-mutilation is a way of striking out to deal with pain. it sounds absurd, but inflicting pain on yourself helps you diffuse the extreme pain/anger you are feeling about situations in your life that you cannot express in any other way. Talk to someone NOW, you are not alone!!

i had a freind who was a cutter she told me it was the only way she had found to stop being mad or unhappy about the world so i think it is a release from comformaty
