The only way to completely stop your period would be to have a hysterectomy. This comes with a whole slew of side effects though, so I don't think it would be worth it, nor do I think it would be easy to find a doctor willing to do this just to stop your periods. Aside from that, there are birth control options that let you have a period every 3 months, so only 4 times a year as opposed to 12 times a year.
