Theres a certain pill you can take tht in time will stop you menstrating all together, go and see your G.P about it.
you lose calcium when you don't have a period, so even if for that reason alone, it is good to have it.
I wanted to have a hysterectomy, because I didn't want periods or kids, but there was no way to have an elective one, they would only do one if there was something wrong. I'm kinda glad now, because I'm 25, and think I want a kid. I'm on the pill, so I skip most of my periods (I know I shouldn't but who cares?!).

There is a birth control out there where u only get it four times a year. My friends on it I think it made her crazy though cause she has been a phycopath since she has been on it.

The only way to completely stop your period would be to have a hysterectomy. This comes with a whole slew of side effects though, so I don't think it would be worth it, nor do I think it would be easy to find a doctor willing to do this just to stop your periods. Aside from that, there are birth control options that let you have a period every 3 months, so only 4 times a year as opposed to 12 times a year.
You can get a hystorectumy (don't know how to spell it) But they will not perform one until you are 24yrs old. Also you can get the depo shot which will stop it for 3months at a time.
A hysterectomy would work, but the recovery would be difficult. You could also talk to your doctor about taking birth control continuously, and then you'd only have a period 4 times a year.
there are medications that can make you stop menstruating. My niece has endometreosis and has been given shots to stop the period because of the damage it is causing her. I highly doubt you could get a dr to give it to you just because you dont want kids & it would most likely be very expensive
No.It is a natural part of life for females.If a woman takes the shot--Depo Provera--each 3 months for birth control,she will either have no period ,or a very light one.And as for not wanting children.that can change.
It mother nature, there is really not much you can do other than take that birthcontrol pill that only let you have 4 periods a year. Ofcouse there is that surgery that doctors do to take all your insides out but I believe you have to have some kind of tumor or cancer for a doctor to do that. So we are back to square one. No!
well I know that in a pinch I would take 2-3 birth control pills, other wise I think you would have to have a hysterectomy. However I highly doubt that any dr would do it without a valid reason.
There is not a healthy or truly effective way to stop your period. There used to be a birth control shot that caused your body to think it was pregnant, thereby stopping your period. I don't even know if it's available anymore. It caused a lot of problems in many young women. My sister was on it, but instead of not having a period, she was on her period for 1 year straight, never any breaks. Plus, she gained all kinds of weight. Your period is a natural indicator of your health. The healthier you are, the more regular your periods are. It is certainly sometimes a burden, but you should just embrace womanhood.

you could take your pills one pack after another, but talk to your dr. first. mine said it was o.k. sometimes, but not evry month. some say go 3 or 4 months without a period and then take a week off for your period.
