amino acids are good for you but you need to excercise and eat frequent meals,smaller meals ofcourse. remember muscle helps in the fat burning process. i dont know if you are trying to lose inches, tone up, or just lose weight. it is best if you try to do all of the above but focus on being healthy and dont look at the scale so much. inches and tone are more important. omega 3 fish oil is good for you if you want to take some too. get a tape measure and measure inches and go by that since muscle weighs more than fat. good luck

amino acids are the basis of proteins. muscles are mainly made up of protein. taking amino acids is safe in the coreect amounts provided you are able to excercise appropriately.
If you have a well balanced proper diet plan you should have no need of taking amino acids for your goal.
