You can't spot reduce. In order to lose fat you have to do cardio..get your heart-rate up. Your body gains fat and loses the fat like this. If you gained first in your belly and then your hips.you will lose in your hips first and then your belly. The first place to collect you can think of as the place that really likes it.so it holds it the longest. You can do crunches for the ab muscles and lunges and squats for your rear-end, but in order to see the work underneath you have to BURN the fat off, by like I said, cardio--get movin! Good luck you:)

You can not target where you are going to lose the weight. The last place you gained weight is the first place you will lose. The way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume. Diet and exercise!

I just signed up for Turbo Jam by Beachbody. Charlene the instructor is great. I lost 10pds in 10 days and im not the most athletic person in the world. I have had 3 kids in past 6 years and havent worked out in ages..but i actually could feel my arms, legs, thighs, and tummy being worked out with Turbo Jam. You should try it if ur serious about getting healthy and slim.

First of all, let me tell you that there is no such thing as spot reduction, i.e. reducing fat only from specific muscles.

Although there are specific exercises to tone the hips, thigs and arms region. For hips and thighs, lunges with light dumbbells, lying leg curls and squats are great exercises. For arms, triceps kickback, lying triceps extension, rope pulldowns, alternate or one-arm dumbbell curls, barbell curls, concentration curls are very effective. Everything does not work for everybody so you will have to try and test for yourself.

The best thing to do is contact a certified fitness trainer and tell him your objectives. He would setup an exercise and diet plan. Good luck!

I cheated and had liposuction. If you are naturally disproportioned, you will be at any size. No other way to just shape ONE area.

as for the arms. I just jokingly call mine "wing flaps"

Try riding the Elliptcal Trainer it is an overall cardio work-out. It works your arms, chest, abs, glutes and legs. You will see results within a week.

gym!! duhhh

think of a onion. and how it has layers. that is how fat comes off your body. You can not make certain areas smaller by working those areas harder.

i've heard spot reduction is not possible. but consult ur fitness instructor for concentrating on problem areas. rowing and running are good overall exercises

kick boxing does amazing stuff to your body! Also try talking to your personal trainer about starting a regular weight workout every 3 days of the week. You want to do a good full body training and do this every other day. A good workout of full body toning can take up to 2 hrs but if you need less time your trainer can target the most important areas and exercises which can work alittle of everything in just 20-30 minutes.

you can try arobics or a gym
