Has anyone ever had an EMG test to check for nerve damage?

Question:

I had one yesterdayon my hand. It hurt like hell. Anyone else have alot of pain with such a test or am I a big baby?

you r right,it IS soooooooo painful,I had it when I was 20,but still remember the pain 10 years later

I had one done on my leg a couple months ago. It tingled but there was no real pain.

My son had one after he fell and hurt his back. I think he had some uncomfortable sensation. I don't know about severe pain. He had nerve damage too.

I don't think you are a big baby, everyone has there own pain tolerance.
