I have long hair and i think i might have lice. Would cuting my hair be a good idea of getting rid of lice?

Yes it would because it would make it easier to remove the lice. But first start with the lice removing shampoo. What my parents found when i had lice as a child was a very hot hair dryer. It killed them better than just the shampoo alone.
