not if they do it properly. mine puts on the oragel first and actually lets it sit for a but to numb the injection site.

it won't hurt anymore than usual..
Normally dentist spray a local anaesthetic and only then giv u injection.that might not hurt much however u 'll feel that the medicine is being injected into the tissue.and pain will not be felt when the injection is done very slowly..
