Have You Ever tried Atkins Diet??

What do you think of Atkins diet??
Can I lose 5-8 klgs in a month with it??
Please..Cuz I really need to Lose the last 8 klgs!!
and ppl told me that i should try atkins!!
Wut Should i do??

Yes the Atkins diet will work and fast.but its not easy to stick with.Like bread?Like pasta? Fruit? Yeah well you cant have any of that. 20 grams of carbs is all your allowed per day for the first 2 weeks. And carbs are found in EVERYTHING!! But its a good one to help lose weight but you gotta love meat, cheese, eggs, salad (no croutons) and only high fat dressings ranch, bleu cheese (eww) so give it a shot!

WELL HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS ON ATKINS.
I BOUGHT THE BOOK, PILLS, CANDYBARS, SHAKES, EVERYTHING.I DID LOOSE WEIGHT ON IT.BUT GAINED IT BACK.BECAUSE WHEN YOU START ATKINS YOU HAVE TO STICK WITH IT FOR A LIFETIME.YOU ONLY CAN EAT CERTAIN FOODS,,,MEAT WHEN YOU FRY IT HAVE TO USE CERTAIN OIL AND FLOUR NO POTATOES, BREAD.ALL KIND OF STUFF YOU HAVE TO GO BY.
YOU CAN LOOSE IT.BUT YOU HAVE TO STICK TO IT OR GAIN IT BACK.

The wife tried it and she did loose weight, but it was too much of a life style change for her to maintain. Once you're on it, you really can't go off it without putting weight back on. If you really want to lose weight, diet and exercise. Cut you calories and fats and eat a lot of broiled fish.

atkin's diet isn't a healthy diet according to my biology teacher. i suggest you go with the good 'ol way of losing weight.eat balanced diet and have exercise to go with it.got to the gym and work out and avoid sweets and foods with lots of preservatives.also avoid soda. =)

boo to atkins. It made me tired, gave me headaches and tummy-aches, and, of course, makes you want carbs even more. In my opinion, cutting out an entire food group is unrealistic for long-term results. Eat 1200-1400 calories a day with lots of whole grain carbs and fruit, lots of low fat protein, and a little healthy fat like that of nuts and olive oil. You won't feel deprived, you will lose up to two pounds a weeks, and your stomach and kidneys will thank you for not overloading them with too much fat and protein.
