A sore on the bottom of my tongue, any suggestions of what it is and how to treat it?

Question:
I am not "active" if you know what I mean.

Answers:
If it's a whitish colored sore, aka a "Cankersore" swishing your mouth with warm salt water a couple times a day for a few days will help.

Other Answers:
Maybe a doctor can give you the best answer.

You're all done, you have herpes

Could just be a cold sore. Go to your doctor and have him check it out. If you arent "active" in any way shape or form then you have no chance of it being an STD.

Heh. You talked about your tongue. Wow I'm sorry. lol.yeah talk to your doctor or it might just go away. Hopefully its not as painful as a dead taste bud because you know how those hurt lol.

Yup swishing with warm salt water, 2-3 times a day will help , that maybe a cankersore, but if it doesnt subside with in 3 days of the rinsing then go see a doctor!

If it is what bradyb described, swish with a solution of 1/2 hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 water a few times a day (especially after eating). It always works for me in a couple days.

Apply pure glycerin to the sore. Also take folic acid tab thrice a day.

I'm not a doctor but sores in the mouth usually represent a lack of Vitamin C. So if you live in an environment where you can buy drugs over the counter then you should be looking for Vitamin C of 1000mg preferably those that the ingredients include Rose Hips. In the meantime gaggling with warm salt water may be soothing. Hope this helps.

IT PROBABLY A CANKER SORE YOU CAN USE CHOLORISEPTIC
