first calm down,becose makeup can make you uglyer then niceer,then grab a paper towel & put it on your eyelip(I don't think you would mess with your eyeball.!?) & carefullly make a zig-zag on your eye-lip-hair & try to loose your hand a bit so the brush can touch the sensible parts(of hair)

PS: carry a paper towel on you & when your makeup is thorn tamponate on the remaines)

It's all in the tongue. I stick mine out when applying, and it works like a charm.
