Other Answers:
yes

its mostly blood and wouldnt you know better than him anyway?

Its the lining of the womb mixed with some blood cells, it is blood but is nothing to worry about, its normal and healthy

IT IS BLOOD AND TELL YOUR HUSBAND THAT HIS STUPID TO THINK THAT IT'S SOMETHING ELSE.

yes it's blood and tissue - both that would cushion a baby in the womb. if a baby is not coming - out it goes !

It is mostly blood, yes .

;^)

Didn't he take a health class when he was in school? He should've learned it there, but yeah it is.

Yes it is blood. It is blood built up in your uterus meant to harbor the egg. When there is no pregnancy and your time of the month comes around, the uterus sheds it's lining of blood.

It is the sheddable lining of the uterus. It is menstrual fluid.not BLOOD. Just because it's red doesn't make it blood. It has some blood in it, but it is mostly nutrients and such in case you become pregnant.

You're a female and your hubby knew this and you didn't?

Didn't you pay attention in the class in the 4th grade about our "special monthly visitor"?

Geez!

yes..GO TO HEALTH CLASS IN 6TH GRADE!!

Yes!

No, you also have some tissue and other material that needs to be discharged. Your hubby's right, it's not 100% blood.

yes

Wow this is the dumbest question i've seen so far. What else would it be? Here's what i learned in nursing class. That your uterus holds blood each month for if you want to have a baby..blood has oxygen so thats what would supply the egg. If you dont have a kid. The blood has no use and no place to go..so it just flushes out and the whole process starts over. Lol you're husband is funny. It's red and juicy.IS IT KOOLAID?! jk

uhh-HELLO! Tell ur hubby to pick up an encyclopedia! What else would it possibly be?

yes what did he think it is wow i thought i was stupid but its good to know there is someone more stupid than me. did he not learn the facts of life time for him to learn

our body cleanses this way it is blood. eve had to eat that apple!

It is blood plus cells and plasma from the lining which is not used because there is no pregnancy.

It is blood. When you ovulate (that is produce an egg) you womb prepares to receive an embryo. If the egg is fertilised then it attaches to the side of the womb and grows in the lining and eventually the placenta grows. But if no egg attaches to the womb then the lining comes away and it is mainly blood.

no its actually chicken/pigs blood. when your a baby the doctor gives you a small shot in your arm called FAS female abliminum shot, it is a chemical that stirs up together with chicken and pigs harmones, and so when a female has her cycle thats what comes out, so tell your husband hes 100% right

It's blood and tissue that your uterus has stored up to get ready for a fertilized egg to attach to. When this does not happen, that lining starts to break down and be expelled from your body. That's what your period is. Cramps come from the contractions that are trying to push out this lining, which is now waste product.

it is blood fromthe wall formed in the womb which was ready and ovulated and did not get fecunded, so the body gets rid of it as a cycle.

it more than blood, its tissue the hubby is right
