Massage, rub and apply the treatments on the scalp and hair thoroughly.
After application, cover the hair with a shower cap or better with a plastic grocery bag and tie it with a twist to secure it tight. Leave the hair in this condition overnight (or as mentioned in each remedy).
Wash your hair with a normal natural shampoo or with a soap and blow dry with hot air.
Brush hair vigorously 2-3 times a day using a bristle hair brush to knock off the nits.
Pull the remaining nits by hand.
The lice may not be killed immediately. One application does not kill all the eggs, you may need to reapply 2-3 times.

lice shampoo. ridx u have to do it for a few days. and the sooner the better. the longer u wait the longer it takes to get rid of them. and the itching is gross!

Nix works best and quickest, depending on how bad the infestation is. You could also try and find this shampoo called "Koodies".it has a cartoon picture of a duck, lathering his head. It's imported from Hawaii and works great also. I buy it at my local health food store. Also, if it's a kid that has it, the parent should be responsible enough to tell the parents of other kids there kid has been in close contact with. It's not shame full.it just happens.I got in one time on a BUS.
