how to read a brain mri white spots?
Question:
Answers:
Nobody could really answer this question with the information you gave. A fluid filled area (such as a cyst) can look white on a T2 MRI sequence, but can look much different on a T1 sequence or almost black on a FLAIR sequence. An area that looks white on a FLAIR, can look darker on a T1. So you would have to know on what sequence is it white.
Take your films or at least your report to your doctor, or better yet, a neurologist. They should easily be able to answer your questions. Remember, there are no dumb questions. Good luck to you.

Check out this information. Have they done any blood work? What is your white blood count? Anything abnormal.
