Answers:
Your WBC count is low, but just barely. Your body has probably been fighting an infection. Keep in touch with your doctor, and ask questions. I am sure you will find out this is really no big deal.
White blood cells help fight infection in your body. A mild decrease in white blood cells doesn't indicate a serious illness. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/low-white-blood-cell-count/AN00726
Remember: The WBC count tends to be lower in the morning and higher in the late afternoon. WBC counts are age-related. AND There are many drugs that cause both increased and decreased WBC counts. http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/wbc/test.html
A normal WBC is between 4-10 in most people, so you are just out of range.

Lol..u don't have a disease! This could happen for many reasons none of which are life threatening.
First thing: Try to stop worrying. Just because your WBC is low, you do NOT necessarily have a horrible disease.
Next: Make an appt to see your doctor and discuss the findings. Make a list of questions you want to ask before going in to see her. Perhaps request to have your WBC tested again. Don't leave the appt until you are satisfied with the answers she gives you.
