Why am i feeling depress for no reason?
Question:
Answers:
The amino acid tryptophan, which the body converts to seratonin, is found in lean meat, poultry, eggs, soya beans and some other pulses (legumes), dried dates, broccoli, low-fat dairy products, bananas and water cress, so next time you are feeling just a bit blue, chop up a banana with a couple of dried dates and eat it with a spoonful of low-fat yoghurt. Sprinkle over a few Brazil nuts and you add selenium, a mood enhancer.
Not getting enough iron can lead to mild depression, so make sure you are getting enough of this valuable mineral, remembering that vitamin C is needed if the body is to absorb it properly.

R U female?
Inthis case, to be quite honest, it sounds like your body is beginning to mature at a faster rate. Is this recent? I know that I personally have this same problem on a monthly basis. The week before my period hits, and for a little while after, I am the most moody, temperemental, and often very depressed person you could ever meet. Normally, I am rather upbeat, but when you go on your period, the hormones in your balance go litterally crazy, and they really mess with your emotions. It can be miserable.
It sometimes feels like you are just spiraling downwards and have no control over yourself, and everything just loses its light, but you really can be in control. Talk to a school councilor- that is what they are there for. They have been taught what will help, as well as most councelors are women and know what you are going through. Also, don't worry about talking to friends about this. It really does help.
If you really don't feel comfortable talking to anyone about it, that is okay. Try (and I know this is odd, but it helps just to get everything out) try starting a journal. It helps you toput everything in perspective, and you can look back at yourself whenever it gets bad and know you are going to get through it.
Even if you have begun your period already, these things can start late. It is a perfectly natural part of being a teenager, and of growing. Just don't letit really get to you. I hope that what I have said helps. You could at least give it a try!
Oh, one more thing. I know there are some sites on the internet that are all about helpingwith this kind of thing. If you want, I can find a couple good ones for you. Take care of yourself!

Think of them as emotional growing pains, like aching knees they get in your way,
but they will help you deal with the big things, someday.
You should seek help. Anytime you have suicidal thoughts, please talk to someone. Things will get better, but you need to seek professional help.

Do you have God in your heart? It's the devil's work; depression. He wants you to feel down in the dumps. Cheer up ;) and don't let him win!
OK depressed without a reason
dear you need a break
you need a look into your life and decide where is the problem that caused the whole thing because even if you don't find a reason for it deep inside your heart and mind there is something going on
that is why you feel down,
take care all the time
Sometimes its a chemical imbalance or it may be some issue in your life that you have not delt with and it is manifesting itself as depression. You need to figure out what that thing is.
Also you may be depressed by all the bad news out there in the world the injustice that you see arround you and the violence etc. But take a look in the bible at Ps 37: 9 - 11 and also James 4:8 these will help you see that the bad things arround us will not continue forever and there is hope for the time when all the bad things we see arround us will be gone. Take care now and never forget that if all else fails turn to God in prayer and He will help you.
maybe u just need time off
depression is caused from many things that happen during every day life, it is the very traumatic events that cause this more! (I have been through this).

Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain centre which controls nerves.

Its call being a teenager. Thats a big change mentally and physically from being a kid. Write down what your feeling and then discuss it with your parents or maybe a school counselor.
Well here is the fellow who wishes to offer a helping hand
Please understand that feeling depression is a true and valid emotion, although a unpleasant one, and there are many of number of reasons which can bring a person to reside with in that state.
I would suggest to you strongly to please contact professionals who help people deal with these emotions, that is there job, and they do it because they care about people just like you, and they want to help you.
please speak to your doctor, and let him know how you are feeling, and for how long it has been going on, and ask him for a referral to a councilor, or professional doctor who helps you.
And please do not feel ashamed for doing so, as what you are feeling though unpleasant is also very normal, and please know that other people do love you and do care about you just like me, and because I care I write you this.
Do not worry about how you will pay for it, or any other obstacle which you may think of that could stand in your way. only put yourself above everything else at this point in time, and get the help you need. everything else will work out if you take care of yourself first, and right now.
Also if you believe in God, and Love him, then pray to him, and ask him for his help also.
Best wishes always a friend.
Sounds like clinical depression. It can be caused by a hormone imbalance, or just life getting too much.
Don't listen to people who just tell you to pull yourself together. They have obviously never suffered from depression and don't realise how draining it can be having to fight to do even the simplest things in life.
Please go and see a doctor or a counsellor, and they will help you. Good luck.
You seem smart for a 13 year old. I understand your desire to stay away from
"sledgehammer" solutions that involve powerful,
sometimes untested prescription medicines. When it
comes to your health, remedies that are stronger are
not always better. I have three things that have
gotten me through times when I've been depressed, and
they're all gentle solutions that I think will suit an
intelligent person like yourself.
1 - The first is what Freud calls the "talking cure".
He insists that it must be performed by a
psychoanalyst who you are paying for, but actually
I've performed it by writing in a diary. The key is to
be very honest, and try to find connections that you
might otherwise be supressing, because these are the
areas that need work. For example, what's the first
thing that pops into your mind when you think of
"depression"? If the answer is "flying a kite", then
follow the chain. What do you think of when you
think of "kite" and "flying". You'll be surprised
how quickly this takes you right down to an event in
your childhood or an unresolved conflict that might
have happened a year ago.
2 - Looking for lies. A chair cannot make you
depressed. A lampshade cannot make you depressed. Only
another person can make you depressed. I believe it is
because a chair and a lampshade cannot lie. Only a
person can lie. Depression, it seems to me, comes from
believing a lie. That conflict (between reality and
the lie) takes up so much mental energy to maintain,
it drains you as a whole. You may find, after using
technique #1, that it leads to you to this conclusion
#2. For example, after free associating your way to an
event, you might find that it was when someone told
you that you weren't worth a hill of beans. The
problem is not that they insulted you, the problem is
that you believed the lie. Beware, giving up on a lie
that we've believed in for a long time is tougher than
it sounds.
3 - This one is going to sound goofy, especially after
wading in deeply with the other two techniques. Get
some light to shine on the cells in the back of your
eyes. Go outside for an extended period of time
without sunglasses (no need to stare at the sun or a
light-bulb, indirect light will do). Use one of those
gentle light therapy products like www.everlyte.com .
Take a trip on a sailboat. Spend a few hours in open
fields on sunny days. It's those cells in the eyes
that produce much of the chemical that pills and
herbal remedies seek to replace, but the cells in the
eyes put the chemicals where they are needed, in your
brain, and not in your stomach and everywhere else.
This third technique will help you with the other two,
allowing you to think clearly, and get out from being
stuck in a loop.
I hope this "whole-istic" answer is as helpful to you
as it has been to me over the years. A gentle look at
the whole picture is often better than a sledgehammer
to just one piece of the problem.
If you have a nurse or a favorite teacher at school, go to see her and tell her about feeling sad all the time. Don't be afraid to do this. They will understand and help you. You need to do this soon. Today.
