Do you throw up after you have an endoscopy?

I am going go get one soon and I was wondering if u get sick after it

No and you shouldn't feel sick during it. You will be given a mild sedative.

I didn't. You should be told nothing by mouth after midnight so you won't puke anything up. Feels funny at first, but once the demerol kicks in, you can relax and watch it all on a monitor. The only side effects I had was feeling a little funny from the meds afterwards.

My neighbor's getting one Monday. I'd kind of like him to get the colonoscopy instead. lol

Had several.

Had many of them.Didn't throw up. However there is a general 'I feel yucky' feeling to it afterwards, but it doesn't last.
