Question:
Answers:
No there is no other cure and surgery is a must. Unless you really like all the pain that comes with it. OK I don't like talking about this. but I had it done twice.. The first time I had it done, They cut where the fistula was and left a big hole on my butt. That healed within a few weeks. But the problem returned a few years later.. This time, They made the cut, And used a rubber band to finish the cutting through the butt muscles. Which I had to get retightened weekly til it finally cut through.. Took about 2 weeks.. I won't lye.. It was almost the worst pain I've ever felt.. But it has'nt returned yet..Been 10 years now. ** Knock on wood.. Fissures and fistulas have a tendency to return.. Good luck.. PS Vicodin really helped for the pain. :-)
