Ladies!? Has anyone ever had painful bumps on their perineum (area between your vaginal opening and anus)?

Question:

My friend just called me freaking out. She said the bumps are not on her vagina or labia. Could her stupid boyfriend have giving her genital warts or herpes?

hmmmm.don't know. are they sore and fluid filled? if so those could be cycst they will go away on their own which is not an std.

does it look like cauliflower? if so those are genital warts. herpes i believe are open sores. also the boyfriend doesn't ever have to outbreaks to be infected. her best bet is to go to an obgyn

Could be HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), or something called Molluscum Contagiosa. Of course it's impossible to tell without seeing it. It will be best if your friend seeks the attention of a physician to find out which. If HPV goes untreated, it spreads and gets pretty nasty looking.
