how to deal with a patient ith Multiple sclerosis at the dental office ?

Question:
I am studying to be a dental assistant and currently working on a project about patients in dental office with physically and medically compromised needs

Answers:
I have MS, and I would want you to deal with me the same way you would deal with anyone else.

Other Answers:
The best way to "deal" with "them" is to ask what they need. Most dental offices, or all for that matter, should be up to par with ADA. So you shouldn't have a problem dealing with anyone. Just clean their teeth. BTW, most people with "physically and medically compromised needs" are fully functional.

That was just absolutely rude on my part.I am sorry. People with disabilities should be given the same treatment as everyone else. They don't want to be treated special. I don't think you'll have any problems, and if you have any concerns, talk with the dentist that you work for prior to bringing the patient back. Does this answer your question?
