Does proactive solutions really work?

Question:
I am wondering if i should try this product out.
and i want to know, from people who have used it already if the product really works.
I've been using some medical acid crap my doctor gave me and well it stopped the acne but the scars are still there.sort of.AND my skin is very very dry after using the product.
So plz tell me if it works or not. and if its worth trying.
THANKS

Answers:
well, most people liked it but some also disagreed and reported that it dries out their skin, well if you really have the money then you should go for it!

Other Answers:
jessica simspon and puff daddy endorse it.so it could be a good product.they have a trial offer.i think you should try it!

yes. it replaced acutane for me. if it doesnt work they offer a money back guarentee

Sometimes, made my sister have an alergic reaction and her face was scarred.

if you use it right it works wonders

works for me, but an herb called bee pollen works better you can get it at gnc

I used it and it dried my skin out. but everyone's different

Yes I used it for 6 months and my face never looked better, however at 45 bucks for a months supply I couldn't afford it, so I did some research and found the same ingredients in a knock off brand at Walgreens for only $20 bucks and it works just as well, and the supply is larger! YAY!

i tried proactive and it made my skin worse. I woke up with a new spot everyday and every spot scarred my skin. In my opinion if you react to 'active' products, dont use it. I've been using less harsh products which have natural ingredients and they have been much better.

I have personally never used it but I use this website to see what others may have to say.http://www.epinions.com/search/?submitted_form=searchbar&search_vertical=all&tax_name=&search_string=proactive

Proactive acne solution - does this treatment really work?

Proactive Acne Solution is now one of the top selling acne treatments in America. Celebrities such as Vanessa Williams, Jessica Simpson, Stephanie Seymour and Elle MacPherson have all given it the superstar tick but unlike other celebrity endorsed products it does have the medical brains behind the beauty.

Proactive acne treatment was developed in 1995 by two Stanford University trained dermatologists (Dr Katie Rodan and Dr Kathy Fields), who felt strongly about finding a better treatment for acne. They called the treatment proactive solution because they claim the formula can heal existing blemishes while proactively helping to prevent new ones from forming.

Proactive acne treatment works on the concept of treating the whole face rather than working on individual blemishes. It is a combination therapy that uses several different medicines in one system to heal and prevent blemishes. Proactive solution uses a three step approach involving a cleanser, renewing cleanser, revitalizing toner and repairing lotion.

The cleanser contains a gentle exfoliant which helps to unblock the pores and benzoyl peroxide which is an ingredient that helps to dry out and sterilize blemishes. The revitalizing toner also helps to unclog pores as well as remove any dead skin cells that can potentially cause blemishes. The repairing lotion is the final step in the treatment which transports benzoyl peroxide deep into the pores to kill acne causing bacteria at the source of the problem.

As well as the three step treatment there is a four step treatment that includes a daily oil control product, or an oil free moisturizer with SPF 15 or there is a five piece treatment that includes both. There is also a proactive mask which is a bit like an added extra to boost the three step treatment.

I have friends who use it expensive but effective, should be on prescription as well just my opinion. Hope that helps :)

ive never tried it. but i do know that if it dries your skin out, you should try a heavy duty moisturizer every night on your skin. it really works wonders. you have to be really ######## about moisturizing though. moisturize at night and exfoliate in the morning. and use an alpha hydroxy in your moisturizer. it stings but it really works. good luck because i know that bad skin can suck.oh and for what i call tumors, like huge pimples under the skin, use something with sulfur in it on those and that works wonders as well.

uh..yeah!
