Why do we getting a high pitch ringing sound in our ears sometimes?

Question:

Answers:
It's called tinnitus, and it can be a sign of hearing damage. Most people have some degree of it, but it's usually not loud enough to notice. However the more severe forms can be quite debilitating for the sufferer.

Certain medications can also cause this. It can also affect chemotherapy patients because of the destructiveness of that treatment.

There is no cure at this time. So the best thing to do is to protect your hearing now and prevent it from becoming severe.
