Question:
i think i have this

Answers:
Trigeminal neuralgia, also known as tic douloureux, is a disorder of the fifth cranial nerve (trigeminal nerve) characterized by attacks of intense, stabbing pain affecting the mouth, cheek, nose, and/or other areas on one side of the face. The exact cause of trigeminal neuralgia is not fully understood. Treatment for trigeminal neuralgia typically includes anticonvulsant medications such as carbamazepine or phenytoin. Baclofen, clonazepam, gabapentin, and valproic acid may also be effective and may be used in combination to achieve pain relief. If medication fails to relieve pain, surgical treatment may be recommended. You can read more about it here

i think its trigeminal neuralgia, also called "tic doloreaux"Its a painful condition in the region of face supplied by a nerve called trigeminal nerve. It may occur after a latent infection with a virus called "herpes".the drug commonly used for this condition is carbamazepine. The virus lies dormant in the ganglion called trigeminal ganglion(a node from which trigeminal nerve arises). So is the pain in the region supplied by the nerve.if u had chicken pox in ur childhood or in the recent past u may get this.consult a neurologist.
