Do you think fiber makes you feel full/suppresses your appetite?

Question:

Answers:
I have observed that eating cereals, particularly oats, at breakfast makes you feel full and you don't get hungry or get an urge to eat snacks before lunch. Fiber is a healthy food, but I would not say that it would suppress your appetite. During Ramadan, Muslims consume a lot of oats, which sees them through the fasting during the day.

Other Answers:
Well it can make you feel full. Also it makes you go the bathroom. As for suppressing the appetite, I have been on this diet where I eat Atkins bars and fruit, and I am not hungry all day. So I guess it can suppress it.
