(alcohol) i get red blotches on my body ?

Sometimes when i drink i get red blotches on my body especially on my upper body. These go away by morning. Any idea on what caueses these red blotches.HALP

The same thing happens to me, on my chest mostly, sometimes my face. I think it's something to do with blood capillaries or vessels opening up or something. I hate it, but usually I'm tipsy, so don't really mind!!

Alcohol dose cause the capillaries to expand and the blood to come closer to the skin. It can even cause the capillaries to burst if you have high blood pressure. Alcohol is a blood thinner so I'm not sure how this works, but it dose work that way. Could be that you have circulatory problems. I'd lay off the booze if you do. alcohol is hard on the heart and the circulatory system if you use it in excess.
