180-190 will kill you sure as shooting. That level will also damage your brain, resulting in your symptoms. What does your doctor say?

that sounds really high. Have you talked to your doctor??

First this is way to high of blood pressure, esp to be on medication, it should be in that 120 or 130 over 70 or 80 with medication.

So see your doctor as soon as possible.

And yes it could be the wrong medication, wrong dosage or some medicial problem causeing it.

Everyone above is correct! Get to the doctor TOMORROW MORNING!

Visit your doctor ASAP..I am a pharmacist

As others have said your b/p is high and needs to be under better control. This is not an emergency, however rather an appointment that should occur within the next couple of weeks. Help your doctor out and take your blood pressure yhree times a day at random times throughout the day. Note the time and date and if you are having any symptoms. This will be invaluable to help establish a cause and effect of your symptoms and b/p levels. Be sure to bring your diary with you during your appointment.

Symptoms of high blood pressure vary quite a lot from person to person. Some common ones are visual changes, headache, lightheadedness, ringing in the ears, and generally feeling unwell - the most common is no symptoms at all.

It is possible that the fatigue you are feeling could be from b/p but there are quite a few other things that could be responsible - thyroid deficit, anemia, heart disease, it goes on and on. Your doctor can take a history from you and help you narrow it down. Also a common b/p medication (beta-blockers) can also produce significant fatigue as a side effect.

Lastly it is common for people to be on two or three medications to control b/p. Let me repeat this is not unusual. It gives you the benefit of optimal b/p control with minimal side effects. The medications work on different mechanisms and work together better than alone.

I have searched the National Institute of Health database of journal articles, which covers all English language medical and science journals over many years. I searched "Mangosteen" and "hypertension" together which produced no results. There are some studies having to do with antibiotic properties and anti-cancer properties of this herbal agent, but nothing about hypertension. It is irresponsible to recommend "snake oil" herbal agents for people who have real, serious conditions. Please ignore the link below and follow up with your physician.
