I am convinced that the easiest to follow and best is Low Carb and Low Glycemic. Kind of like Atkins and South Beach without too much saturated fat.
If you are not familiar with low glycemic look it up on yahoo search to see which food are the best to eat and not eat.
Basically eat healthy vegetable and lean proteins, cut out the sugar, and refined carbs, (things made from white flour).
Blood sugar levels are the key to it, eat food that enter the blood slowly. email me if you need to ask any questions, I'm willing to help if I can. Good luck

Hi I am on the Jenny Craig plan it is about portion control. It is expensive but they teach you how to eat. You eat 6 times a day. Vegetables are free as well as sugar free jello and some condiments. They have a rewards program to give you some money off on your order as well. I lost 20 lbs so far which is one size down. You also need to exercise. I am a nurse and I found out that in my work is exercise in itself. I got a pedometer and I walk 8,700 steps in an eight hour day. However, at Jenny I invested in one of those balance balls. They are fun. It's hard at first not to fall off the thing but it really works your muscles. I also love to go for walks in the woods on charted paths in the daytime. In the summer I rent a bike on the Cape Cod canal. It's keeping your exercise new and varied which helps keep it interesting. If you do the same thing everyday then you get bored and your body does too. You need to shock your body with new things. So I vary what I do but I'm going to try to get some kind of activity in everyday. Good luck.
My favorite weight loss system is a healthy lifestyle. Removing as much fatty, fried, high-fat food and replacing them with healthier items. Switching out the pop for water.but I still enjoy my Mountain Dew! Incorporate exercise..start slowly and build up. Doing sit-ups or crunches while watching t.v. Going on a walk or bike ride and increasing that by more and more distance. There are so many small changes people can make.Remove the mayo and use mustard instead.Use low-fat cheese instead of regular. Instead of french fries on the side, eat a salad. I changed the way I ate and increased my physical activity.Since last June I've lost nearly 80 pounds.Anyone can lose weight and get in shape if they really try.If at first it seems like work, don't worry.your body will get to liking it more and more and before you know it your attitude will change about things. You can google BMR and find a chart. Fill in the information and it will tell you how many calories you need a day just to function.breathing, swallowing, blinking..just being you. Subtract 500 calories from that to lose 1 pound a week. (3500 calories is one pound)Then through exercise burn at least 500 calories a day and that is another 3500 you'll burn a week for a total weight loss of 2 pounds! It can be done..just don't get frustrated. Accept any and all accomplishments no matter how big or small. Think of pounds in pennies.each penny is not much, but when you save a bunch of them.it becomes alot. That's the same with your weight loss..a pound here, a pound there, comes out to a BIG loss down the road. I wish you the best in your weight loss endeavor :)

Personally I am allergic to anything that might be good for me; so what I do is go on a negative calorie diet, mainly living off of the fruits and celery dipped in low cal dressing and drinking diet anything plus tons of water. HOWEVER; if you want to go and do it the right way, I highly recommend this new sight called Fitting It In. It is being done by Melissa Anelli who is basically doing it to help others as she helps herself. She got the idea when her Goddess J.K.R. came out against these Hollywood actresses who look like Holocaust victims, because they not only look sick, but are also setting a very bad example for the youth of the world who look up to them as roll models. There unhealthy life styles not only makes people sick, but also leads to life long cases of chronic depression.
I highly recommend you not only look into her web sight, but also her Podcasts. She is also the person who runs the top rated Harry Potter fan sight “The Leaky Cauldron”, which is why J.K.R. is her Goddess of course lol.

The first tip with regard to a new fitness program that you choose is that it should not be too ambitious, and try to achieve too much, too soon.
At first people tend to be very motivated with their program and set hard targets. They just about achieve these, but soon get disillusioned as the initial thirst for success wears off.
Therefore you should try to start slowly; with just one or two sessions each week. Only once you have done this for a couple of months and are able to stick to it should you consider adding another session.
