what causes a womb to become tilted?

Question:
I was diagnosed with a 'tilted womb' about 10yrs ago, i am a healthy 41yr old woman, Does anyone know if: a) it happens naturally, or b)it was caused by something else.. eg an accident or penetration, and cud this b the reason that i've been diagnosed with "inconclusive-fertility", hence the reason why i've never been pregnant.

Answers:
its genetics. A uterus doesn't "become" tilted. It is or has always been that way. I have the same issue, and it was diagnosed about 12 years ago. Uterine placement is not something common, so it is not looked for or noticed in routine paps. It can hinder conception as the sperm have a harder time getting up "the slope" per se.

Other Answers:
it is something you are born with and yes it can cause infertility

It does happen naturally and can make it harder to get pregnant. During pregnancy it usually corrects.

If you are still trying, try a rear entry position.

Friend had a severely tilted uterus (and now has a 8 month old girl)

I never heard of a tilted womb. Are you sure they didn't say tilted uterus? This is a good reason why pregnancy may be harder if not impossible. There may be options and corrections. Seek medical guidance as a lot has happened in gynecology in the last 10 years.
