from a guy's view:
women pay too much attention to what they look like. If you are 100% confident in yourself nothing else matters. Dress appropriately and make-up, if you believe you must wear it, should be applied sparingly.

Make-up is to enhance your features not change them completely. I would have a difficult time trusting a woman who wears alot of make-up. It just tells me that she's not being truthful to herself and others. Think about it.
