go with the raw it is better for you. the same principle would go for other foods eaten raw. they are just better for you. all the protein and nutrients are still embedded in the food.

Make sure the roasted ones are made without hydrogenated oils (they usually are not). Other than that, the additional salt on the roasted ones is the only thing bad for you. If you eat 7-12 a day, nothing to worry about anyway. If that's not moderation, nothing is!
