Do scented pads give you infections?

I am wearing pantiliners and I don't know if I should wear scented. I just started my period too.

They can irritate your skin. I recommend non scented pads.

no, i didnt have a problem. but then again i used a scented tampon. i loved them, they smell really good.

Scented liners or pads don't give you an infection; I've used the former for years without problems. Some people are sensitive to the agent used to produce the scent, however; it could cause irritation to those prone to such things. But no, they don't give you an infection or make you more susceptible. My suggestion would be to try them and see if they work for you; most people are not irritated by the scent, but some can be.

That's okay. Scented are strong, but you should read the box if it's something you might get an allergic reaction. Be careful for scented pads though.
