Does anyone use Flaxseed oil to control High cholesterol and has it worked?

Another good nutritional supplement is red rice yeast.
Oatmeal also helps control high cholesterol.

I grind my own flaxseed and use about 2 tbls on my fruit and cereal every morning. I don't know about my cholesterol, but I stay very regular. I like the taste of it too. Plus, it can't hurt.

my husband does and he is 50 and yes it works great! His doc says with the history of HBP in his family he is in great shape but he also takes bioslife fiber in choc soymilk shakes every morning plus 5 different vitamins.

I tried it but I don't like the taste. I tried the seeds mixed and mashed as well as the oil. Ughhh!! Couldn't swallow it down.
