Why is it okay to ask a skinny person their weigh and not to a big person?

Question:
Because I am 28 year old woman, I weigh 93 lbs, but I'm 5'0 tall/short. ha ha ha.
I think I look healthy.

Answers:
i have always said that it's just as rude to ask me weight as it is to ask a big person. i hate when people talk about my size. it's just not polite.i especially hate it when girls say "girl, you're so skinny." they would never tell a big girl "you're so fat." it's the same thing

Other Answers:
Skinny people rarely think they are skinny enough. I wouldn't ask

Most big people are sensitive about their weight; it's hurtful for them to discuss it.

It's never okay to ask what someone weighs. whether they are fat, skinny or in between. If they volunteer the information, that's another issue. But you should never ask.
