I find it really hard to get to sleep at night - any good tips?

I either end up reading or watching TV really late, or lying in bed tossing and turning - what works for you?

Exercise. I sleep much better when I work out on a regular basis. Also, try not to consume caffeine after 5PM.

read some easy to read fiction (nothing technical or that requires a lot of brain power)

get your finances in order (honestly)

Be sure not to sleep too late in the morning, and do not take a nap in the afternoon. If you get too much sleep during the day, you can't sleep at night. Also, it is true what they say about warm milk. It really does work.

you are so lucky, i sleep about 14h a day and i would love to be able to stay up late watch TV and go out, if you can't sleep then there is no point trying and doing nothing, get up and have some fun!

dont drink anything with caffiene for that whole day. try some homeopathic sleep aids or get acupuncture, they can help with the insomnia.. whether its due to overactive mind or restlessness. check to see if u have palpatations or get dizzy.

avoid sleepin til l8 in da mornings or nappin durin da day. so dat u save sum sleep 4 da nyt.. keep a hectic schedule. wich wud tire u either ways ..mentally or physically.. avoid pills pleez dis thing z common amongst r generatn ppl.. cuz v r born NOCTURNALS..v love clubbin, n l8 nyt outs.. n i dun think itz ol dat serious 2 go 4 it neway.. dun consume tea or coffee or ne energy drink by ne chance a couple of hrs b4 u wanna sleep. cuz i use `em 2 keep up @ nyt wen i really need 2 durin exams or sumthin els otherwise ma mind malfunctions due 2 tireness n sleep. lolzz..
