Some do some don't. I don't just mean unclean or unbathed people. I am talking about cologne or perfume wearing people that could knock a buzzard of a crap wagon with the aroma coming off of them. I think some people are not as sensitive to it as other people though. I try and make a point of letting people know when they are smelling a little to funky. I try and be polite and say things like, "Damn, it's not the smell baby it is the burning of my eyes". or" Wow that cologne you are wearing reminds me of something wait a sec it's coming, I know it smells like the outhouse door on a 1954 Tuna boat". They generally get the hint and if not I was looking to meet people when I found them. i do have one rule with friends and family too. If you stink you are on your own because I don't want to be anywhere near when people start pointing a finger, Stinky.

When you stop being able to smell something after awhile of getting used to it, that's called olfactory fatigue. I think stinky people just get used to their own stench. However, even if you can't smell yourself, if you don't bathe or do your laundry like EVER, you should still know intellectually that you smell bad. I can't believe some of the people I get stuck riding the bus with. eeewww!
